1 cup rolled oats
- 2 tbsp rava/semolina
- ¼ cup curd/
- 1 cup water
- ¼ tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp ginger paste
- 2 chillies, finely chopped
- ½ tsp cumin
- 2 tbsp onion
- 2 tbsp tomato
- ½ tsp salt
- olive oil
Recipe-
- First of all, dry roast 1 cup rolled oats until they become crisp.
- Now cool the oats completely and without adding water, grind them to make a fine powder.
- After this, put ground oats powder in a big bowl. Then add rava, curd, and water for binding.
- Now mix all the ingredients beat them well and make a smooth batter. Take care that there are no lumps in the batter.
- Then add turmeric, ginger paste, chilli, and ground cumin and mix.
- Now add onion, tomato, and ½ tsp salt and mix well making a thick chilla batter.
- After this, pour a ladle of batter on the hot pan and spread it gently. Drizzle olive oil over the cheela.
- Now cover it and let it cook on a medium flame for one minute. Then turn the cheela and cook it by pressing gently on both sides.
- Healthy and tasty oats cheela is ready. Serve it with green chutney or your favorite dip.
