Mooli Ki Sabzi: Radish is available in abundance in the market in winter. People often use radish in salad or paratha, but radish vegetable is also very tasty to eat. Not many things are required to make radish vegetable and it tastes very tasty. Eating radish, which is rich in iron, vitamin A, C, E and many other nutrients, has many health benefits.

It keeps digestion healthy and is also beneficial for heart health. Today, along with radish, we will also use radish leaves in this vegetable. So let us know how delicious radish vegetable is made.

Material

Radish – 2 (finely chopped), Radish leaves – 1 cup, Onion – 1 (medium sized), Ginger – 1 inch (grated), Green chilli – 2-3, Mustard oil or refined oil – 2 teaspoons , Celery- 1 teaspoon, Asafoetida- ¼ teaspoon, Turmeric powder- ½, Chilli powder- ½ teaspoon, Salt- as per taste.

  • To make radish vegetable, wash radish and its leaves thoroughly with water 2-3 times. Now chop the radish finely or grate it. Now finely chop the radish leaves also. Also chop onion and green chilli and keep aside. Now add mustard or refined oil in a pan. When the oil becomes hot, add celery and asafoetida in it.

  • Now add grated or finely chopped ginger and green chillies to it. Now add radish and its leaves in the pan. Cover it and cook well. After cooking well for 10-15 minutes, check if the radish and leaves have started cooking, then add turmeric powder, red chili powder and salt to it and mix well. Now cook it until the radish is cooked well.
  • Once the vegetable is cooked, serve it with hot paratha or phulka.
