Ingredients required to make jowar upma-

Jowar 1 cup soaked,

Salt to taste Salt

Oil 1 tbsp

Mustard seeds ½ tsp

Green chilies 1-2

Curry leaves 5-6

Urad dal 2 tsp

Asafoetida 1 pinch

Ginger 1 inch chopped

Onion 1 medium chopped

Carrot ¼ cup chopped and Boiled

Green beans ¼ cup chopped and blanched

Green peas ¼ cup cooked

Fresh coriander 2 tbsp chopped

How to make jowar upma?

To make jowar upma, first wash the jowar in the morning and keep the water after draining it.

Then put 3 cups of water, jowar, and salt in a pressure cooker and boil it for 3-4 whistles.

After this, put oil in a pan and keep it for heating.

Then you add mustard seeds, green chilies, and curry leaves to it and crackle it well.

After this, you put urad in it and fry it till it becomes golden.

Then add asafoetida and ginger to it and fry till the aroma comes.

After this, add onion to it and fry till it becomes golden.

Then add chopped vegetables to it and fry on high flame for a few minutes.

After this, cover it and cook it well for about 2-3 minutes.

Then add salt to it and mix it well.

After this, add boiled jowar to it and fry it for about 4-5 minutes.

Now your nutritious jowar upma is ready.

Then garnish it with green coriander leaves and serve hot.
