Ingredients for Chilli Cheese Naan
Flour - 1 cup
Curd - 1/2 cup
Cheese – 1 cup
Green chili - 2 tsp
Ginger - 2 tsp
Black sesame seeds - 2 tsp
Onion – 1/2
Green coriander leaves - 3-4 tbsp
Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
Sugar – 2 tsp
Desi ghee - 4 tsp
salt - as per taste
Chilli Cheese Naan Recipe
To make the flavourful Chilli Cheese Naan, first of all, put curd in a big mixing bowl. After this add sugar, baking soda, a pinch of salt, and baking powder to the curd. Now beat the curd well with the help of a spoon. After this add refined flour to the beaten curd and mix it. After this add hot water as required and mix it well and knead the dough. After this cover the dough and keep it aside for 2 hours.
Now take another bowl and add grated cheese, ginger, finely chopped onions, and chopped green chilies and mix all the ingredients well. Then put salt as per taste in it. Now take maida flour and prepare balls in equal proportion. After this take a ball and roll it like roti. After this, put the prepared stuffing in the middle of the roti with the help of a spoon. Now close the stuffing from all sides.
Before rolling the naan, put green coriander leaves and some black sesame seeds on it and then roll it. Now take a nonstick pan/tawa and heat it on medium heat. When the griddle becomes hot, sprinkle some water on it and apply water on one side of the naan and roast the waterside on the griddle. After roasting the naan for some time, flip it over the griddle and roast it on direct flame. When the naan gets cooked well, take it out from the griddle.
