The incident occurred in Bihar’s Saharsa district, where a performer named Gaurav Kumar was doing a “Nagin Dance” at a Chhath Puja celebration. Gaurav had draped a live cobra around his neck and arms, with two more snakes on the stage. The audience believed the snakes were part of the act. However, during the dance, one of the snakes bit Gaurav on his hand.

What Happened After the Bite?

After being bitten, Gaurav continued dancing, unaware of the bite. However, he collapsed on stage shortly afterward. The audience quickly realized something was wrong, and he was rushed to the hospital. Medical staff confirmed that he had been bitten by the snake. Fortunately, timely treatment saved his life.
