Chaturmas is starting from Devshayani Ekadashi on 29th June Thursday. Chaturmas is also known as Chaumasa. Lord Sri Hari Vishnu is in yoga sleep in Chaturmas and the management of creation is in the hands of Lord Shiva. They are both in the role of protector and destroyer. 10 rules of Chaturmas
1. Chaturmas starts from Ashadh Shukla Ekadashi till Kartik Shukla Ekadashi date. In these four months, one should wake up before sunrise and take a bath daily. Lord Vishnu should be worshipped. In this, the month of Sawan is best for worshiping Shiva.

2. Follow the rules of celibacy for the entire Chaturmas. Keep your distance from vindictive thoughts and vindictive things. By being pure in mind, deeds, and words, do charity according to your ability.

3. Food should be taken once on Chaturmas. One should sleep on the ground or floor on time. Fasting, chanting, penance, meditation, yoga, etc. should be done. This will keep both body and mind healthy.

4. The fasts of Chaturmas should be worshiped by keeping them methodically. Do not use your power on useless things. Control anger, and avoid the evil of others. not proud. Do self-reflection.

5. Must perform Sandhya Aarti every day on Chaturmas. Wear a new thread. In Chaturmas, apart from Lord Vishnu, Mahadev, Goddess Lakshmi, Mother Parvati, Ganesh ji, Radhakrishna, Pitra Dev, etc. should be worshipped.

6. Don't do auspicious work like marriage, engagement, house warming, etc. in Chaturmas because the gods are sleeping during this time. In such a situation, doing these works does not give auspicious results.

7. Don't consume paan, curd, oil, brinjal, greens, sugar, spicy food, meat, alcohol, salty foods, etc. in Chaturmas. According to beliefs, giving up paan in Chaturmas gives enjoyment, leaving curd gives Goloka, leaving jaggery gives sweetness, and leaving salt gives happiness to a son.

8. Consumption of leafy vegetables in Chaturmas, curd in Bhadrapada, milk in Ashwin, and garlic-onion in Kartik is prohibited. Also, do not wear black or blue clothes in Chaturmas.

9. On Chaturmas, a person should do 5 types of donations, which include lamp donation, food donation, clothing donation, shadow donation, and labor donation.

10. In Chaturmas you can chant Lord Vishnu's mantra Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya and Lord Shiva's Panchakshari mantra Om Namah Shivay. In Chaturmas, your wishes will be fulfilled by devotion to Shiva and Vishnu.
