Chaitra Navratri 2023 Kalash Sthapana Rules
On the first day of Chaitra Navratri, the seeker should install the idol and urn of Maa Durga in the northeast direction. This direction is considered very auspicious for worship. Along with this, establish Akhand Jyoti at the southeast angle only.
Install the idol and the urn of the mother only on a post made of wood or sandalwood. This is because sandalwood is considered very auspicious in the scriptures and it has also been called the center of positive energy in the scriptures.
On the first day of Chaitra Navratri, make a swastika symbol with turmeric on the main door of the house and place a pylon made of mango or Ashoka leaves. By doing this, positive energy is transmitted in the house and Maa Durga is pleased.
Worshiping on the first day of Navratri wearing red or yellow colored clothes gives special benefits. Both these colors are considered a symbol of enthusiasm and happiness. Also, keep in mind that sadhak should not use black color at the time of worship even by mistake. By doing this negative energy can dominate.
