Why are women most at risk of cervical cancer?
Cervical cancer occurs in the cervix. It is also called cancer of the mouth of the uterus. In women, the part connecting the uterus and vagina is called the cervix. For this reason, the cancer occurring in it is called cervical cancer. This cancer is caused by HPV i.e. Human Papilloma Virus. HPV enters the body and damages the inner part of the uterus and gradually turns into cancer. Its symptoms are quite common due to which women often ignore them.
According to experts, women aged 30 are at higher risk of cervical cancer. There are many reasons behind cervical cancer, among which having sex with more than one partner, poor hygiene, use of birth control pills, smoking and family history can be responsible for this cancer.

This is how cervical cancer is detected
Cervical cancer symptoms are not visible, but if you still suspect it, then a screening test is done. A pap smear test is the most important test. In this, a sample of cervical tissue is taken. If abnormal cells are found in it, then an HPV test is done. These tests detect cervical cancer. After this, the treatment is started.
