Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has once again issued a high-security alert for two major browsers. CERT-In has said in one of its reports that Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers are the target of hackers. The data of these two users can be leaked at any time.
CERT-In has identified these bugs in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers as CIVN-2023-0361 and CIVN-2023-0362. CERT-In has said that all users who are using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser should update their browsers immediately.
According to the report, this bug is a bug in Google Chrome version v120.0.6099.62 and earlier on Linux and Mac. Windows users have been advised to update Chrome version 120.0.6099.62/.63 and earlier. Users who are using Edge browser versions older than version 120.0.2210.61 are the target of hackers.
CERT-In issues alert for Samsung mobile users
CERT has recently issued a high-level alert for Samsung mobile users. The alert states that people who have Samsung phones should update their phones immediately. This alert has been issued for those Samsung phones that have Android 11, 12, 13, and 14.
