The Government of India works to provide free and cheap ration to a large population of the country. For this, ration cards are made for people living in poverty and below the poverty line. Through this ration card, the cardholder can get a free and cheap ration every month from the government ration shop in his locality. A ration facility is provided to the people by the Food and Logistics Department. At the same time, for some time now, ration card holders have been asked to get e-KYC done, but do you know that fraudsters are not refraining from cheating people by taking advantage of these things? Therefore, you should know what is the right way to get e-KYC done. So let's know about the right way...
How do fraudsters cheat?
The department has asked the ration card holders to get e-KYC done. Taking advantage of this, fraudsters make fake calls to people in which they are asked to get e-KYC done immediately. After this, a link is sent to the mobile number of the cardholders and as soon as you click on this link, these fraudsters hack your mobile and cheat you.
Apart from fake calls, fraudsters also send fake messages to people's mobile numbers, which look like real messages. It is written in this message that if you do not get e-KYC done, then your ration card will be canceled. A link is also given in it for e-KYC. But you do not have to click on it, otherwise you can lose your hard-earned money.
This is the correct way to get e-KYC done:-
Step 1
If you have not got e-KYC done yet, then for this you first have to go to the government ration shop from where you get ration.
Keep in mind that all the members whose names are on the ration card should go to the shop.
If you want, you can also go separately, you just have to tell the reference number given by the ration dealer.
Step 2
Then the ration dealer does your e-KYC for which he takes the fingerprint of each member in the POS machine.
As soon as the fingerprint comes, your e-KYC is done successfully
Keep in mind that for this you do not have to pay any money to the ration dealer because this facility is free.
