For people who have a QR code in their PAN card, first of all, they have to go to Play Store and download the 'PAN QR Code Reader' app released by the Income Tax Department.
Then install this app also

Step 2
After the app is installed you have to open this app
Where you will see a green plus sign on the camera viewfinder
You have to capture the QR code made on the PAN card with this viewfinder.

Step 3
As soon as the QR of the PAN card is captured, a beep will sound.
After this, your PAN card information will appear in the app.
Match the information with the PAN card, if it matches then the PAN card is genuine and if the information does not match then it may be fake.

How to check without a QR code:-
Step 1

People who do not have a QR code on their PAN card can also detect real or fake PAN cards.
For this, first of all, you have to go to the official website of the Income Tax Department www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal.

Step 2
Here you have to click on 'Verify your PAN status' and then you will be asked for your information on a new page.
You have to fill in all the PAN card information here, after which you will get a message.
This will contain information that you have to match with the information given on the screen and your PAN card.
If all this information is available, then the PAN card is genuine.
