Even though e-vehicles have arrived now, there are still vehicles running on petrol and diesel and they are continuously coming in the market. Therefore, petrol and diesel have to be filled in them to drive the vehicle and for this people go to the petrol pump. But the thing that troubles people the most among all this is the fraud done by the petrol pump. Petrol pump owners cheat people in many ways. In such a situation, people face problems and get less petrol and diesel while the customers are charged the full amount. Meanwhile, if you are satisfied by seeing zero on the machine while taking petrol and diesel and think that you have not been cheated, then you may be proven wrong. Let's know how. You can learn about this in the next slides...

How is fraud done in the name of zero?

Usually, when you go to a petrol pump to fill petrol or diesel, the first thing you see is zero in the machine. This is because when the reading starts from zero, it is believed that you are getting full oil and there is no problem in the reading, but in the meantime, the petrol pump people play a trick.

What happens in this is that the customer is shown zero reading, but here people are made victims of the jump trick. It happens like this if, after zero reading on the machine of a petrol pump, one and then five numbers are coming, then it means you have become a victim of the jump trick in which you are given less petrol-diesel and full money is taken.

What to do?

If you are going to fill oil at a petrol pump, then do not just look at zero in the machine. You have to see that if the reading is jumping a lot, then you should talk to the petrol pump people. If they do not agree with you, then do not fill oil from that pump, otherwise, you will get less petrol-diesel.

Where to complain?

It is often seen that when a customer complains to the petrol pump about less petrol and diesel, then the customers also get into arguments with the employees. Therefore, you have to avoid all this and you can complain about the petrol pump on toll-free number 18002333555. After this, the machine of that pump is checked and if the complaint is found to be true then the license of the petrol pump owner can be cancelled.
