In today's fast-paced life, everyone seems to be concerned about their health. For this, people exercise and take a good diet, but despite this, there are many things in the market which are very tasty to eat but are also adulterated. For example, paneer. Actually, whether it is a festival or a normal day, people bring paneer home and consume it raw or by making vegetables, pakodas, etc. But do you know that adulterated paneer is also being sold in the market which can make you sick? Maybe not, but you can also know about the ways to differentiate between real and fake paneer here. So let's know what these methods are...
The ways to detect real and fake paneer are:-
Number 1
When you buy paneer from the shop or have brought paneer home, then you can mash the paneer with your hand. In such a situation, if the paneer is breaking and falling, then this paneer may be adulterated. Do not buy such paneer, otherwise it can harm your health.
Number 2
The paneer you are consuming is real or fake. You can find out this by its smell. All you have to do is smell the paneer, if it smells like milk, then this paneer is real. Whereas, fake paneer does not have such a smell.
Number 3
You can also know whether the paneer is adulterated or real by boiling it. For this, you have to first boil the paneer and then take it out and keep it aside so that it cools down. After this, put tur or soybean powder on this cold paneer and leave it for 10 minutes. After this, if the paneer turns light red, then this paneer may be prepared with detergent. Do not consume such paneer at all.
Number 4
People who adulterate add starch to the paneer. To find this out, take a few pieces of paneer and then put a few drops of iodine solution on them. After this, if the cheese turns blue or black, then it may be adulterated cheese. However, the color of real cheese does not change.
