To avoid cold in the winter season, we all carry thermal wear. We also call them warmer. Nowadays, along with simple-looking warmers, designer and expensive warmers have also started coming into the market. In such a situation, just as we take care of our woollen outfits, we should also take care of our worms.

Many of us do not pay much attention to the cleanliness of the worms simply because they are worn inside and are not visible to everyone. But very few people know that if you do not take proper care of thermal wear, then not only does their warmth reduce but they also become so bad in appearance that wearing them under a good outfit is difficult. You start feeling uncomfortable.

Therefore, today we will tell you how you should take care of thermal wear so that they look like new for years.

Cleaning Warmers

  • During the winter season, some people apply oil to keep the skin smooth, while others apply body lotion. In this case, the oil released from the body gets mixed with the greasiness of the oil or body lotion and a strange stain appears on the warmers. If you want such stains not to appear on your warm clothes, then after wearing them once, you should clean them on the very next day.
  • Even if you clean your thermal wear with detergent, they can get damaged. Detergent contains caustic, which makes clothes hard. According to the formula on which thermal wear is prepared, they should only be given a mild wash. You will find many mild liquid detergents in the market.
  • If you wash your clothes in the washing machine, do not put worms in it because doing so will cause them to start bobbling. You neither have to rub it nor use a brush on it, because its fabric is very delicate.

How to dry warmers

  • Like normal clothes, you should not dry the worms in strong sunlight. Let us tell you that when worms are dried in strong sunlight, they become hard and when you carry them under clothes, they make you feel uncomfortable. Therefore, always dry the worms in the shade and hang them in a hanger.
  • Worms should never squeeze you. After washing, you have to hang them at such a height for some time and let the water squeeze out of them on its own because if squeezed by hand, there will be wrinkles in them, which will not go away after drying.
  • You don't even have to press the warmers by doing this it loses its heat and also becomes hard. Not only this, the fabric of the worms is very delicate, due to which there is a high possibility of it getting burnt.

How to store

    • Thermal wear should never be stored with other woollen clothes. By doing this they start bobbling. Not only this, their fluffiness also reduces.
    • Always keep the worms in a place where there is not a lot of wind. The darker and more airtight place you keep it, the more softness it will retain.
    • When you are not wearing worms, make sure to wash them before storing them and always wash them on the straight side. After drying them, wrap them in a shawl and store them.

If you also want to carry your warm for years and do not want to wear expensive thermal wear again and again, then you should also keep the above mentioned tips in mind.
