Ingredients:

  • 250g paneer, cut into small cubes
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped

  • 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon of garam masala

Instructions:

  1. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until they become translucent.

  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute.

  4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and mushy.

  5. Add coriander powder, garam masala, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and salt, and stir well.

  6. Add heavy cream and mix well.

  7. Add paneer cubes and mix gently, making sure the paneer is coated with the sauce.

  8. Cover the skillet with a lid and let the paneer cook for 5-7 minutes or until it becomes tender.

  9. Stir occasionally and add a splash of water if needed to adjust the consistency of the gravy.

  10. Once the paneer is cooked, remove the lid and let the sauce thicken for a few minutes.

  11. Garnish with fresh cilantro (optional) and serve hot with naan bread or rice.
