A heart attack is a fatal medical condition. According to the World Health Organization, 17.9 million people worldwide die from cardiovascular disease every year. Out of these, 4 out of 5 deaths are due to heart attack.
Although most people think that heart attack happens suddenly in reality the truth is completely different. Before a heart attack occurs, the body goes through a whole process, due to which many types of symptoms start appearing. This is called the initial sign of heart attack. In a recent study, 7 such symptoms have been identified.
Study reveals signs of heart attack
According to a study conducted on 243 people published in NCBI, 41 percent of the people undergoing treatment for heart attack in the health center reported experiencing some symptoms related to it a month ago.
Symptoms visible 1 month before a heart attack
Chest pain,
chest heaviness,
fast heartbeat,
difficulty in breathing,
heartburn,
fatigue,
sleep problems.
These symptoms are most common in these people
According to the study, it is found that these initial symptoms of heart attack are more visible in women than in men. According to researchers, 50 percent of women were facing sleep-related problems before the heart attack. Whereas only 32 percent of men had these symptoms.
The most common symptoms of heart attack
A study conducted in 2022 shows that chest pain is the most common symptom of heart attack, which is seen almost equally in men and women. This symptom was confirmed in 93 percent of men and 94 percent of women included in the study.
