Bharat rice has been launched by the government to reduce inflation. This rice is being sold for Rs 29 per kg for all the people in the country. This decision of the government has especially benefited the poor and middle-class people because now they will get good rice at a cheap price and the cut in the pocket will also be reduced. However, before Bharat rice, there were many such things, that the government sold at a cheap price. If you are not aware of this, then we will tell you.
Bharat rice was launched
First of all, let's talk about Bharat rice. Bharat rice was launched by Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Minister Piyush Goyal. The minister flagged off 100 mobile vans, through which rice was made available to the people in Delhi. This rice at a cheap price will now be available at the stores and mobile outlets of Kendriya Bhandar, the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India (NAFED), and the National Cooperative Consumer Federation of India (NCCF). 'Bharat' brand rice is being sold at a maximum retail price of Rs 29 per kg in 5 kg and 10 kg bags according to the family.
Now Bharat flour is available
Now let's talk about what other things are being sold by the Government of India at a cheap price like Bharat rice. To provide flour to the people at a cheap price, the government also launched Bharat flour. The price of this flour is Rs 27.50 per kg, whereas in the market, the same flour is available at Rs 35 to Rs 40 per kg. Apart from flour, the government had also launched gram dal at a cheap price, it was also launched along with the Bharat brand. Bharat dal is being sold for Rs 60 per kg. Apart from this, onion is also being sold for Rs 25 per kg at all the central warehouses and other retail shops.
Why is it available so cheap
On the online store Blinkit, flour of many brands is being sold at Rs 35 to Rs 40 per kg. That is, a 10 kg packet of these brands is available for Rs 408. In such a situation, how is Bharat Atta, which is available to people at the rate of Rs 27 per kg and its quality is also given by Avon, available so cheaply? Let us tell you that the Food Corporation of India had provided 2.5 lakh tons of wheat to NAFED, NCCF, and Kendriya Bhandaar at the rate of only Rs 21.50 per kg. The government is now selling it at Rs 27 per kg with grinding with these agencies to provide cheap flour to the poor people.
