The FBI said that with the help of AI, malware software is being created and in addition, dangerous chemical weapons are also being made for terrorists. AI and ChatGPT are being used to create malware on a large scale and these malware are being used to get bank account information of people. Even anti-malware software does not recognize malware created by AI.
Martin Zugec, technical solutions director at antivirus maker Bitdefender, said novice malware developers don't have the skills to evade chatbots' anti-malware. They don't have any knowledge about it. Earlier in June 2023, the Center for AI Safety (CIAS) had also warned about AI.
