Otherwise, you can also become a victim of fraud. So let us know what things you should keep in mind. You can learn about it further...

Pay special attention to these things:-
Number 1

If you get such a call, in which the caller describes himself as an officer of the Food and Civil Supplies Department and then in the name of updating the banking information, he asks you for any of your confidential information (bank account number, ATM card number and CVV). If someone asks, never share. Keep in mind that the officer of the concerned department never makes such calls nor asks for any information.

Number 2
Avoid such calls in which someone asks you for the OTP received on your mobile number. RBI says never to share your OTP with anyone. Keep in mind that if you give OTP to someone, your hard-earned money can be withdrawn from your bank account. Actually, these fraudsters call you posing as officials of the concerned department and then ask for OTP from you in the name of a ration card. Never give this to them.

Number 3
You may get such a call, in which you are threatened that your ration card is going to be closed or the name of a person is going to be cut off. In such a situation, he can ask you for your information, but never trust this call nor share any information. If you want to know about this, then meet your ration dealer or go to the concerned office and get information.

Number 4
Nowadays most of the fraud is seen happening through fake links. Fraudsters send you a link and ask you to click on it and fill in your information. But be careful, because as soon as you click on these links, your mobile gets hacked and money gets withdrawn from your account. Never click on such links.
