Do you want to slim your thick waist and get in shape?

Are you finding it difficult to reduce belly fat despite regular workouts?

If your answer is yes, then now is the time to follow the tips mentioned in this article to get rid of stubborn belly fat. Anjali Mukherjee, an expert dietitian who trains Miss India contestants, has shared some tips on her Instagram account. Anjali has been working in this field for almost 20 years and is also a diet tips expert.

Experts say, "Belly fat not only reduces your beauty but also increases the risk of dangerous diseases like high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, fatty liver and cancer." Belly fat starts increasing due to unhealthy eating habits, lack of exercise, lack of adequate sleep, increasing age, stress etc. Although it is difficult for women to reduce belly fat, some measures can help you.

Reduce carbohydrate intake

To reduce stubborn belly fat, less carbohydrates should be taken in the diet. However, you do not need to completely remove carbohydrates from your regular diet, as they provide you with energy. The fresh fruits and vegetables you eat while following a weight loss diet provide you with adequate amounts of carbohydrates. Avoid eating refined and processed foods.

Eat fibre-rich foods

Soluble fibre is essential for weight loss. Soluble fibre binds with water and forms a thick gel in the intestine. This gel takes time to digest food and slows down the absorption of nutrients in the intestine. This keeps your stomach full for a long time and you feel less hungry. It helps in burning belly fat. Therefore, include green leafy vegetables, legumes, whole grains and fruits in your weight loss diet to increase fibre intake.

Increase protein intake

If you have lost weight due to all your weight loss efforts and workouts, but your belly fat has not reduced, then you should include protein in your diet. Protein increases your metabolism, reduces your desire to eat and keeps you from feeling hungry for a long time. Protein not only reduces your belly fat but also prevents it from coming back.

Apart from this, protein increases muscle strength. Legumes, nuts, beans and seeds are some of the best food sources of protein. Non-vegetarian people should include meat, fish, eggs and other dairy products in their diet for protein.

Eat more often

We often consume excess calories even when eating healthy foods. To keep calories under control, instead of eating a lot three times a day, eat small amounts four to five times a day.

Exercise

To reduce belly fat, along with following the diet, do exercise daily. If you are wondering which exercise should be done to lose weight? So a brisk walk of 1 hour daily is a very good solution.

Apart from this, you should include weight training, Pilates, yoga and cardiovascular exercises in your workout routine to get rid of belly and overall body fat. Aerobic exercises like swimming and running can also reduce belly fat. Along with reducing belly fat, exercise controls blood sugar levels, increases metabolism and reduces bloating.

Vitamin D

We all know that due to deficiency of Vitamin D, many diseases surround the body, but let us tell you that due to deficiency of Vitamin D in the body, weight also starts increasing. This vitamin prevents the accumulation of fat cells in the body and also prevents their formation, hence it is associated with weight loss.

Apart from this, Vitamin D increases serotonin levels, which improves metabolism, reduces appetite and makes your body burn more calories. You can take Vitamin D from things like fatty fish, egg yolk, mushroom, spirulina, milk, tofu, curd, orange juice, cheese etc.
