The Government of India started the system of free ration during the Corona period, under which free ration is being provided to ration card holders. Earlier it was started only for the Corona period, but even at present the government is running this scheme and a large number of people are taking advantage of it. In this, free ration is given from the government ration shop according to the name of the member registered in the ration card. In such a situation, if you also take advantage of this scheme, then wait a bit because due to a small mistake of yours, you can become a victim of fraud. So let's know which mistakes can make you a victim of fraud. You can know about this further...

You can be cheated due to these mistakes:-
First mistake

Nowadays fraudsters make fake calls in the name of ration card to cheat people and then ask you for your banking confidential information. You do not have to make the mistake of sharing any information with them. If you share any of your information with them, you may become a victim of fraud. So stay away from it.

Second mistake
Avoid such calls in which the person calling is introducing himself as an officer of the Food and Logistics Department and is asking for any information from you. Such calls can be fake because such calls are not made to ration card holders by the department and neither is any information sought from them. If you want information, you can contact your ration dealer or the department itself.

Third mistake
Nowadays, fraudsters are making fake calls to people in the name of e-KYC and are cheating them by taking their information from them. So know one thing that the department does not make any such calls and for e-KYC you should contact your ration dealer and not trust any such call.

Fourth mistake
If you ever get any such call in which you are being told that your ration card is being closed or your name is being removed from the ration card, then never trust such a call. In such a situation, meet your ration dealer directly or contact the department. These calls may be fake.
