The largest state-owned bank SBI has provided a free ATM withdrawal facility to its customers 5 times per month. However, for metro cities, this limit is just three times. After five withdrawals, withdrawals from SBI ATMs will be charged Rs 5 and ATMs of any other bank will be charged Rs 10. You can withdraw a minimum of 100 rupees per day and a maximum of 20 thousand rupees per day from ATM.

Punjab National Bank also offers its customers 3 free withdrawals per month in metro cities and 5 free withdrawals in non-metro cities. After this, a charge of Rs 10 will have to be paid on every withdrawal. Customers of this bank can withdraw a maximum of Rs 25,000 per day, while card holders like Gold and Platinum can withdraw up to Rs 50,000 per day.

HDFC, the largest private sector bank, does not charge its customers five withdrawals in non-metro cities and three times in metro cities. After this Rs 21 and tax is taken. According to the card in this bank, daily 10 thousand to 1 thousand rupees can be withdrawn. The bank charges Rs 125 per transaction for international ATM withdrawals.

ICICI, the second largest private sector bank, offers its customers 3 free withdrawals per month in metro cities and 5 free withdrawals in non-metro cities. If you withdraw money from a non-ICICI Bank ATM, you will have to pay Rs 5 for Rs 1,000 and Rs 150 for Rs 25,000. 50 thousand rupees can be withdrawn daily from the ATM of this bank.

Axis Bank customers can withdraw 3 times per month in metro cities and 5 times in non-metro cities. After this, the bank charges Rs 21 plus taxes on every withdrawal. Customers of this bank can withdraw up to Rs 40,000 per day from ATMs. Private banks have higher ATM withdrawal limits as compared to public sector banks.
