This is because this time the banks will remain closed for 14 days in August. 6, 8, 12, and 13 August
This time banks will be closed on 6th August 2023 due to the Sunday holiday, Tendong Lho Rum Phat on 8th August, and the second Saturday of the month on 12th August. Apart from this, August 13 is a Sunday, so there will be no work in banks.
15, 16, 18, and 20 August
August 15 is Independence Day, August 16 is the Parsi New Year (Shahanshahi) and August 18 is Srimanta Sankardeva's date, and August 20 is a Sunday. That's why banks will have a holiday on these four days.
26, 27 and 28 August
This time due to the fourth Saturday of the month on 26th August and on 27th August there will be a Sunday holiday for the banks. Whereas, due to Onam on August 28, there will be no functioning in the banks.
29, 30 and 31 August
Due to Thiruvonam on 29th August, then on 30th August is the festival of Rakshabandhan. That's why banks will have a holiday on this day. Apart from this, banks will also remain closed on August 31 due to Raksha Bandhan/Shri Narayan Guru Jayanti/Pang-Lhabsol.
