Keep these things in mind:-
First thing
Trust is a good thing, but don't make the mistake of giving your ATM card to someone and trusting the other person. If you give your ATM card and PIN to someone, you can be cheated. RBI says never to share your debit card and PIN with anyone.
Another thing
If you are going to withdraw money from an ATM, be sure to cover the keypad with your hand when entering your PIN. Apart from this, do not let anyone else come inside while withdrawing money and if there is a problem in the ATM, do not withdraw money from there and inform the bank.
Third thing
If you get such a call, who pretends to be a bank official and asks you for your full debit card number and PIN etc? So never believe such calls and do not share any banking information with them, because they are frauds and can cheat you.
The fourth point
Fraudsters may also call or message you saying that the bank is upgrading your debit card for free and also giving you some cashback. Hearing this offer, people get greedy and give all the details of their cards. Never do this, otherwise, you may be cheated.
