Ingredients to make Masala Onion Roti
Wheat flour - 1 cup
Gram flour – 1/2 cup
Finely chopped onion – 3/4 cup
Green chili - 1
Green coriander - 1 tbsp
Cumin - 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Onion-garlic masala – 1/4 tsp
Desi ghee - as needed
salt - as per taste

To make delicious Masala Onion Roti, first of all, take an onion and peel off its top and cut it into fine pieces. After this, finely chop green chilies and green coriander leaves. Now take a big mixing bowl and put wheat flour and gram flour in it and mix both of them well. After this add cumin, turmeric, and red chili powder and mix. Now add finely chopped onion to the mixture and mix.
After adding onions, add 2 spoons of oil to the mixture and mix well by adding onion-garlic masala or garam masala. Now add water little by little and knead the dough. After this, keep the dough covered for 10 minutes to set. After the fixed time, take the dough and make balls out of it.
Now keep a nonstick pan/tawa on a medium flame for heating. After the griddle is hot, put some ghee in it and spread it all around. Now take a ball of dough and roll it around. After rolling the roti, put it on the griddle and roast it for some time. Then flip the roti and apply some ghee on top and roast it. Roast the roti till it becomes golden and crisp from both sides.
