Amritsari Naan is a popular Indian flatbread that originated in the city of Amritsar, Punjab. Here's a recipe for Amritsari Naan:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1/4 cup of yogurt
- 1/4 cup of milk
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 1/4 cup of melted butter
- Nigella seeds (optional)
Instructions:

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and sugar.

Add the yoghurt, milk, and oil to the bowl, and mix well to form a dough. Knead the dough for a few minutes until it is smooth and elastic.

Cover the bowl with a damp towel and let the dough rest for 2-3 hours.

Preheat the oven to 500°F.

Divide the dough into equal-sized balls.

Roll out each ball into a thin, oval-shaped naan.
