Be it a wedding or any small function, potato tikkis are definitely available in every feast. Tikkis available in the market are very tasty to eat, but most people are afraid to eat them because of the adulterated food available in the market.

If you are also afraid of eating outside, then to satisfy your small hunger in the evening, you can make potato tikkis at home and eat them yourself and feed them to your family members too. It is very easy to make, and everyone will praise you after eating it.

Tikki making ingredients
Potatoes – 4 medium-sized
Green chillies – 2-3
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
Garlic paste – 1 tsp
Ginger paste – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt - as per taste
Oil – for frying

Method
To make potato tikkis, first wash and boil the potatoes, then peel them. After peeling the potatoes properly, grate them. Mash the grated potatoes once properly.

After this, add grated potatoes, green chilies, coriander leaves, garlic paste, ginger paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, and salt in a big bowl. After putting everything together, mix it properly. The spices should mix properly in the potatoes.

After this, make potato tikkis from this mixture and fry them in light oil. After it becomes golden from both sides, take it out on a plate. Remove excess oil with the help of a napkin. Serve Aloo Tikki with hot ketchup and coriander chutney.
