Many types of beneficial and welfare schemes are being run by the government for the needy and poor class living in the country. In these schemes, where on one hand some essential items are provided, on the other hand, there is also a provision to provide financial assistance. At the same time, if we talk about the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, at present a large number of people are associated with this scheme and are taking benefits from it. The name of this scheme was recently changed to 'Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana-Mukhyamantri Yojana'. Under this scheme, Ayushman cards of eligible people are made and then the card holders can get their treatment in empaneled hospitals. So let's know about this. These people are eligible for the scheme:-
If there is a landless person
If your house is mud
If someone is a daily wage laborer
A person who belongs to a scheduled caste or tribe
People who live in rural areas
Who is destitute or tribal
If there is any disabled member in your family etc., then you can avail of its benefits by getting an Ayushman card made.
Eligible people can apply for Ayushman card like this:-
Step 1
If you are eligible as per the list given above, then you can also apply for this scheme.
For this, you will first have to go to your nearest public service center.
Now you have to go here and meet the concerned officer.
Step 2
Then here the officer asks you for some of your documents.
You have to provide an Aadhar Card, Residence Certificate, Ration Card, and an active mobile number in the documents.
Then the documents provided by you are scrutinized
Step 3
After this, your eligibility is also checked
Then if found eligible, Ayushman card is issued in your name.
Within a few days, your Ayushman card will be ready.
