Ingredients to make Crispy Mango Shortbread Aam ki Kachori
2 cups flour
2 tbsp oil
salt to taste
1/2 cup moong dal (soaked for 2 hours)


1 tbsp green coriander
1 green chilli
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp fennel powder
1/4 tsp red chili powder
a pinch of asafoetida
1/2 tsp ginger powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp cumin
1 tbsp roasted lentils
1 cup cooked mango chutney
1 tbsp green chutney
1 tbsp ripe mango
finely chopped

Crispy Mango Shortbread Recipe
First of all knead a soft dough by adding flour, salt, oil and water and cover it and keep it for 15-20 minutes.
Now coarsely crush the soaked moong dal and then fry it in a pan along with the rest of the spices.
When the lentils are well roasted, take them out separately.
Make balls of dough and roll it like a puri.
Fill moong dal filling in it and keep it aside.
Heat the oil in a pan, when the oil becomes hot enough, then make the gas medium.
Now put the kachori in the oil, and roast it till it turns golden brown from both sides.
Now take out the shortbread in a plate and garnish it with mango.
Serve mango chutney along with it, it is so tasty to eat that whoever eats it will keep eating it.
