There is probably no need to tell you how important it is to have an Aadhaar card with you. Because if you have to get any government work done or non-government, then you need an Aadhaar card. Whether you want to open an account in the bank, join government schemes, get a SIM card, take subsidy available in government schemes, tell your identity, etc. Aadhaar is required for all these works. In this sequence, it has already been said by the Unique Identification Authority of India i.e. UIDAI that people whose Aadhaar cards have become 10 years old, will have to update their Aadhaar, the last date of which has been extended to 14 September 2024. If you have not updated your Aadhaar, then you can get it done for free like this:-
Step 1

If your Aadhaar card is 10 years old and you have not updated it yet, then you can get it updated
First of all, you have to go to the official website of UIDAI uidai.gov.in/en

Step 2
After going to the website, you will see the option of 'Update Aadhaar', click on it
Then you have to fill in your 12 digit Aadhaar number here, after which an OTP will come to your registered mobile number
With the help of this OTP, you have to login

Step 3
Then you have to click on the document update option
After this, you have to go to the drop list and update the scanned copy of identity card and address proof here
Now click on the submit button and then you will see that your form has been submitted

Step 4
As soon as the form is submitted, you will get a request number
Keep it safe because you can check your status with it You will be able to know whether your Aadhaar card has been updated or not. Then within a few days, your Aadhaar card gets updated.
