How to update your Aadhaar card without address proof?

You can also do this from the official website of UIDAI at uidai.gov.in. For this, you have to go to 'Update your Aadhar'. You will find this inside the 'My Aadhaar' option.

You have to choose the online option. Earlier you did not need to go to the Aadhaar service centre to update it, but online service has been stopped only for some updates. Now click on 'Update Address via Secret Code' and update the Aadhaar of Address Verifier. You will get a Service Request Number (SRN)

The verifier will have to log in with his Aadhaar by clicking on the link that will come and fill in his information.

After this OTP will come from the second SMS and after filling it captcha code will have to be verified.

When it is verified, you will get another Service Request Number (SRN) via SMS.

You will need this SRN for confirmation. You have to permit the verifier. Now review your address, edit it and then submit it.

A secret code will come to you by post via an address validation letter. Keep in mind that it will come to the same address which you have updated.
