Aadhar card is an important document for us, which is used for identity cards as well as for government schemes, banking, and other government works. Whether you do business or do a job, Aadhaar is important for you.

Let us tell you that you can change the details of your Aadhar card on the official website of UIDAI. You should think about this especially when your details are several years old or there has been some update in it. As we know many people's base has been around for more than 10 years and was created when they were kids. In such a situation, it is right to change your photo.

Aadhaar card contains details like biometric information, photograph, address, email ID, phone number, and more, which allows UIDAI to maintain the information. Through this, a person can be identified.

How to change photos based on Aadhaar?
Before applying for a change in Aadhaar photo, note that UIDAI allows Aadhaar holders to update their demographic details, such as name, address, date of birth, gender, mobile number, and email online. However, to update biometric details, such as fingerprint, iris, and photograph online, one has to visit a nearby Aadhaar enrollment center for biometric verification and pay a minimum service charge.

First of all, go to the official website of UIDAI – uidai.gov.in.
Now download the Aadhaar Enrollment Form from the website.

After this fill in the required details in the enrollment form.
Submit it at the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra or Aadhaar Enrollment Centre.
Now the Aadhaar executive present at the center will check all the details through biometric verification.
Then the officer will click on the new photo to update it on the Aadhar card.
For this, you will be charged Rs 100 along with GST.
You will be given a slip with the Update Request Number (URN) which can be used to track the status of the update on the UIDAI website.
