The month of August has started from today and there are many festivals in this month which the countrymen celebrate with great pomp. Like Rakshabandhan, Janmashtami, etc., we cannot forget that on 15th August this month, the whole country celebrates Independence Day because on this day India got freedom from the slavery of the British. On this day the flag is hoisted and people also fly kites. On this occasion, many e-commerce websites/apps run sales through which people order their favorite items online, but during this time you have to be careful that you do not become a victim of fraud. If you are thinking how can this happen? So you can know about this in the next slides. So let's know about this...

Do not make these mistakes, otherwise, you can be a victim of fraud:-

Number 1
On the one hand, the 15th August sale is going on and people shop due to the offers, on the other hand, fraudsters can take advantage of this and cheat you. For this, they can send you any link message, email, or even social media by giving you some tempting offers. You do not have to click on any such unknown link, otherwise you can be a victim of fraud.

Number 2
Nowadays, fraudsters are using the method of canceling parcels a lot to cheat people, so on the occasion of this 15th August sale, you should stay away from it. Actually, in this, you are first called saying that a parcel has arrived for you, but when you say that you have not placed any order, then you are asked for OTP to cancel it. In such a situation, keep in mind that never share OTP with anyone because this is a kind of scam in which you can be cheated.

Number 3
Whenever you get an offer in which you are given a good deal, always check it first. Fraudsters send fake offers to cheat people and as soon as people order in it or click on the link, their mobile is hacked and they are cheated. So stay away from this.

Number 4
If you want to shop from this 15th August sale, then keep in mind that you should shop only from a trusted app or website. If you do not do this, then you may go to a fake app. Fraudsters create such apps/websites to cheat people. So stay away from them.
