While presenting the budget for 2023-24, the Tamil Nadu government informed about giving an allowance of Rs 1,000 per month to women. The government says that from September, a monthly assistance scheme of Rs 1,000 is being started for the eligible female head of the household. 7 thousand crore rupees have been earmarked for this scheme in the current budget.

Madhya Pradesh government will also give 1 thousand rupees
Beneficiaries will also get Rs 1,000 every month under the LadliBahna scheme launched by the Madhya Pradesh government. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan started this scheme on March 15 this year. Under this scheme, women will be given an amount of Rs 1,000 every month.
