First know the last date:-
The Unique Identification Authority of India i.e. UIDAI issues Aadhar cards to the citizens of India. In such a situation, if it has been 10 years since your Aadhar card was made and according to UIDAI, you have to get this card updated. You can do this work online for free. Whereas, offline you have to pay a fee.

At the same time, the last date for updating the Aadhaar card by UIDAI was 14 June 2024, but now this date has been extended to 14 December 2024. In such a situation, now you have more than 2 months. Therefore, you must get your Aadhaar card updated in time.

Check whether your Aadhaar has been updated or not:-
Step 1

If your Aadhaar card is also 10 years old, then you can update it sitting at home.
For this, first of all, you have to go to the official website of UIDAI https://uidai.gov.in/en/
As soon as you go here, log in with the help of your Aadhaar card

Step 2
After this, you have to go to the 'My Aadhaar' section and click on the option of 'Check Aadhaar Update Status'
After this, you have to click on 'SRN' and you have to fill in your service request number here.
Then fill in the captcha code given on the screen, after which you will know the status of whether your Aadhaar has been updated or not.
