This small boat was caught near Udupi in the south after travelling a distance of about 2600 km. The Coast Guard has arrested them. The police is also investigating this matter.
The name of the master of these three is Dorsey Alphonse. The second one's name is Robinson and the third one is James Franklin. Two of them are from Tamil Nadu's Ramnathpuram and one is from Tirunelveli. They say that the master for whom they were working in Oman used to exploit them. He did not pay them. His passport was confiscated. That is why they fled by boat.
The name of the Omani boat is SHAETAF launch Manoeuvring. The boat's registration number is 1159. These three had left from Tukkam in Oman on February 17. The length of this mechanized fishing boat is 20 meters. They had taken 50 liters of drinking water and fooDue to the keen eye of the Coast Guard on the maritime border, a boat coming from Oman was caught in the sea.
