In a serious incident from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, six female students have accused a college professor of sending them inappropriate and obscene messages over WhatsApp. The accused, 53-year-old Economics professor Abdul Karim Khan, is currently under investigation following the filing of a formal complaint.
The matter came to light when one of the students submitted a complaint to the college principal and later approached the police. According to the student, the professor had contacted her under the pretext of sharing academic assignments but soon began sending messages of an objectionable nature. When she questioned the professor’s behavior, he reportedly apologized, but the student decided to take the matter to the authorities.
The complainant has also submitted screenshots of the messages as digital evidence. After her report, five more students came forward with similar allegations.
