Arjun Tendulkar, son of great batsman Sachin Tendulkar, was included in the playing-11 for the first time by Mumbai Indians. Arjun got a chance to play against Kolkata Knight Riders in the 22nd match of the 16th season of IPL.

Arjun was bought by Mumbai Indians for the first time in 2021 for Rs 20 lakh. Arjun was again bought by Mumbai for Rs 25 lakh in 2022. Arjun got his chance after sitting on the bench for two consecutive seasons.

Arjun made his T20 debut for Mumbai for the first time in 2021 against Haryana. Arjun made his List A debut in November 2022 against Goa. In December 2022, Arjun played his first match for Goa in the Ranji Trophy against Rajasthan.
Arjun has taken 12 wickets in addition to scoring 223 runs in seven matches in the first class. Arjun has eight wickets in seven List A matches and 12 wickets in nine T20 matches.
