IPL 2025: Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma Regret This One Habit More Than Their Form

Sunrisers Hyderabad invested big in IPL 2025, shelling out ₹11.25 crore for Ishan Kishan and retaining Abhishek Sharma for ₹14 crore. But while the money is flowing, the runs aren’t — and the pressure is mounting. Surprisingly though, it's not just their form that the two young stars regret. It’s also how they spend their money.

Ishan Kishan’s Lavish Laundry Regret

In a light-hearted yet revealing interview, Ishan Kishan admitted that he spends an absurd amount of money on laundry.

“I can’t even tell you how high my laundry bill is,” he said, laughing but clearly regretful.

That’s not all — the stylish southpaw also lamented wasting money on haircuts:

“After one or two years, you realize how much money you've thrown away. I spent so much on hairstyles and still my hair looks bad.”

Abhishek Sharma’s Fashion Splurge

Meanwhile, Abhishek Sharma confessed to being a shopaholic. His major expense? Clothing.

“I spend way too much on clothes — that’s where most of my money goes,” he shared.

Both players are known for their fashion sense and off-field swag, but even they admit that these spending habits haven’t aged well.

Poor Form Adding to Pressure

While style points may be intact, their stats are raising concern. Ishan Kishan started IPL 2025 with a bang, scoring a century in the opening match, but has fizzled out since. In five games, he has scored just 127 runs at an average of 31.75.

Abhishek Sharma’s performance has been even more underwhelming: just 51 runs in five matches at a dismal average of 10.20 — and shockingly, not a single six from a player known for his big hits.

Sunrisers Feeling the Heat

With both players underperforming, Sunrisers Hyderabad are struggling. The team has lost four out of five matches so far — and the weight of expectations is beginning to show.
