A Level 1 offense can result in a player being reprimanded, fined 50 percent of their match fee, and one or two demerit points. If a player accumulates four or more demerit points within a 24-month period, they are converted into suspension points. Two suspension points could mean a player is banned from one Test, two ODIs, or two T20Is.
