Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have a graduation degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
- Final-year students can also apply, provided they have at least 50% aggregate marks in their previous years. They must secure 50% or more in their final degree to confirm selection.
- Candidates must have at least a B grade in the NCC 'C' Certificate exam.
Age Limit (as of July 1, 2025):
- Minimum Age: 19 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years
- Candidates must be born between July 2, 2000, and July 1, 2006.

Selection Process

- Only shortlisted candidates will appear for the SSB selection process at designated centers.
Probation Period
- Probation Duration: 6 months from the date of commission.
- If found unfit during probation, the officer's commission may be terminated at any time.
