Important news for Aadhaar Card holders, update this information, otherwise it will be cancelled

 

Aadhaar Update It is necessary to update the Aadhaar card to prevent it from being cancelled. UIDAI can consider the Aadhaar card inactive and cancel it if it is not updated for a long time. In such a case, the cardholder may have to go to UIDAI's Delhi headquarters to reactivate the Aadhaar card. Aadhaar centers are not authorized to reactivate the cancelled Aadhaar card.

Aadhaar Update: If you have not updated your Aadhaar for 10 years, then immediately go to the nearest Aadhaar center and get it updated, because if you do not do so, your Aadhaar card can also be cancelled. After which the cardholder may have to visit the headquarters of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) in Delhi.

 

UIDAI verifies Aadhaar cards every eight to 10 years, in which if there is no update in the Aadhaar card for a long time, it is considered inactive and action is taken to cancel such suspicious Aadhaar cards. Therefore, UIDAI has already implemented this system to identify active Aadhaar cards.

After the cancellation of the Aadhaar card, the cardholder has to go to the UIDAI headquarters in Delhi, where the problem is resolved at the respective help desk. Aadhaar centers are not authorized to reactivate the cancelled Aadhaar card.

 

It is mandatory to upload photo ID proof

According to Operation Manager Digvijay Chaudhary, most of the cardholders are such who do not need any changes in their name or address. They do not need to update their identity. To identify whether such cardholders are alive, UIDAI has made it mandatory for everyone to upload photo proof every 8 to 10 years. PAN card, voter ID, passport, driving license etc. can be uploaded as photo proof.

 

 

Keep updating your biometric and iris

According to Digvijay Chaudhary, the biometrics of the fingers of senior citizens keep changing after a few years. Due to this, many card holders are not able to get verified in biometric punching. Most complaints are received in ration card and attendance biometric verification. Therefore, every ten years, the Aadhar card holder should get his finger biometric, iris and face biometric updated.
