The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has announced the Class 10th results, and Saina Thakur has emerged as the state topper. A student of Newgal Model Public Sr. Sec. School, Bhavarna, Saina secured 696 out of 700 marks, achieving an outstanding 99.46%.
Saina Scores 100 in 5 Subjects
Saina Thakur achieved a perfect score of 100 marks in:
- English
- Mathematics
- Science
- Social Science
- Computer Science
She lost just 4 marks in total, scoring 98 each in Hindi and Sanskrit.
This phenomenal achievement has made her family, school, and friends proud, with celebrations underway for her record-setting performance.
Second and Third Position Holders
- Ridhima Sharma secured the second rank with 695 marks (99.29%)
- Parmudita Sharma and Parnika Sharma shared the third position with 694 marks (99.14%)
Overall Pass Percentage Improves
- Total students appeared: 1.95 lakh
- Overall pass percentage: 79.06%
- This marks an improvement of around 5% over last year’s 74.61%
The Class 10 board exams were held from March 4 to March 22, 2024. Evaluation of answer sheets was completed by May 8, and the results were released shortly after.
