After the incident, the husband called his wife's parents and said that your daughter's body is in the suitcase. At present, Bengaluru Police is investigating the matter. Everyone is shocked by this gruesome incident. The woman is about 32 years old. Police said that the woman has been identified as Gauri Khedekar, who was a resident of Maharashtra. According to the police, the woman's husband Rakesh Rajendra Khedekar fled to Pune after killing his wife. The accused has been taken into custody in connection with the murder.

 

According to the media report, Rajendra Khedekar called Gauri's parents and confessed his crime. After receiving information from Maharashtra Police, the local police reached the spot and started investigation. Forensic

and crime teams were deployed. Senior local police officer Sara Fatima said, "Around 5:30 pm, we received information from the control room about a suspicious hanging case. When Hulimavu police reached the house, they found the door closed. After entering inside, they found a suitcase in the bathroom." She said that the forensic team opened the suitcase and recovered the body. 

 

Knife marks found on woman's body

Deputy Commissioner of Police Sara Fatima said that the woman and her husband came to Bengaluru last month and were living in a flat in Doddakammanahalli village under Hulimayu police station area. She said that knife marks were found on the woman's body. She said that the accused has been detained in Pune and is being brought to Bengaluru. The motive behind the murder will be known after questioning him. According to the police, a team from Bengaluru has now left for Pune to bring back the suspect for further interrogation and legal proceedings. 

 

Police are investigating why the murder happened.

Investigation into the motive of the crime is underway. "We are investigating further to understand what really happened," the officer said. He said the couple got married two years ago. They are from Maharashtra and had moved to Bengaluru two months ago for work. He works as a project manager in an IT company. She was a housewife and was looking for a job.
