Gas cylinder latest price today
Amid the festive season, people are closely monitoring LPG cylinder prices. A day before Diwali, consumers will be curious to know if the price of domestic cooking gas or commercial gas cylinders has increased today.
State-owned oil marketing companies (OMCs) have kept the price of 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinders unchanged today, according to the latest prices released for November 7, 2026. This is a relief for domestic consumers.
Domestic LPG cylinders are widely used for cooking in Indian homes. Changes in their prices can directly impact a family's monthly budget, especially for middle-income and economically weaker households.
However, the situation is different for commercial LPG users. The price of 19-kilogram commercial cylinders was increased in early November. This is the third consecutive month that commercial cylinder rates have been increased. This has led to increased operating costs for restaurants, hotels, roadside eateries, and catering businesses.
