Amidst the process of creation and reorganization of three-tier Panchayati Raj institutions, people willing to contest the elections of Sarpanch, Pradhan, Panchayat Samiti and Zila Parishad member and workers of political parties have started looking for ground. Along with this, the youth dreaming of jobs have also started hoping that vacancies will soon be released in Panchayati Raj institutions.

According to estimates, about six thousand posts of officers and employees are likely to be created in the reorganized institutions. Proposals for about 2500 new Gram Panchayats have come. Objections are being taken on these. These proposals will be finalized in the month of June. In such a situation, posts will be created according to the new Gram Panchayat, Panchayat Samiti and District Councils. After the reorganization, the number of Panchayati Raj public representatives will increase.
5 thousand posts will increase in Gram Panchayats only
One post of Village Development Officer and Junior Assistant will be created in every Gram Panchayat. In such a scenario, after the formation of 2500 new Gram Panchayats, 5000 posts will have to be created in the Gram Panchayats themselves. At the same time 8 new Zila Parishads will be formed. Apart from an average of 13 officers, posts of other employees will have to be created in every Zila Parishad. Apart from an average of 6 officers, posts of other employees will have to be created in Panchayat Samitis. The formation of about 100 new Panchayat Samitis is proposed. In this way, it is estimated that about 6 thousand posts will be created in all the new Panchayati Raj institutions.
Youth will get employment opportunities
Objections are being taken at the level of the District Collector on the proposals of new and reorganized Panchayati Raj institutions. New posts will also be created when new institutions are formed. In such a situation, the youth will get employment opportunities.
