Gold Price Today: How much did the price of gold and silver become on July 28, know the price of your city before buying

A slight easing of tensions between the US and Iran has boosted global commodity markets. Crude oil prices fell after the two countries ceased their attacks on each other over the weekend. This has eased concerns about rising global inflation, benefiting gold, which is considered a safe investment. This has led to a slight increase in gold prices. Gold prices rose for the second consecutive day on Tuesday morning. After a day of stability, gold prices have rebounded. In the capital Delhi, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold has risen by ₹940, while the price of 10 grams of 22-carat gold has risen by ₹860 in the last two days. In today's trading, the prices of 24-carat and 22-carat gold in the Delhi market have risen by ₹10 each. Positive signals in the global market, a weakening US dollar, and a decline in bond yields are being seen as driving increased demand for gold.

Gold supports domestic market

Investors are looking to gold as a safe haven during times of global uncertainty. Tensions in West Asia, uncertainty over monetary policy, and changing inflation outlooks are impacting gold demand. Prices for 18-carat, 22-carat, and 24-carat gold purity vary across major cities. These prices vary slightly depending on local taxes, demand, and market conditions.

Silver prices fall again

However, the price of silver remained under pressure against gold even today. After remaining stable for two consecutive days, the price of silver has declined. The price of one kg of silver in Delhi has decreased by Rs 100 today to Rs 2 lakh 39 thousand 900. Silver is also trading at the same level in major metro cities like Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai. However, before this, huge fluctuations were recorded in the silver market. On June 25, the price of one kg of silver had increased by Rs 5000, while on July 24, it had decreased by the same amount.

Silver is used not only as a precious metal but also extensively in the industrial sector. If demand from electronics, solar energy, and other industrial sectors declines, it puts pressure on silver prices. Currently, the price of silver is seeing limited upside due to the weakening industrial demand.
