RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav
Political activity has once again intensified in Bihar. Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav made a major statement on Monday (August 17, 2026) regarding the march scheduled for August 19th. Calling it an "open march," he appealed to students, youth, and the unemployed to participate in large numbers.
Tejashwi Yadav alleged that incidents of paper leaks are constantly occurring in Bihar and the state is gradually becoming a hub for paper leaks. He said that irregularities have occurred in several examinations, including the 10th, 12th, and constable recruitment, and that the futures of young people are being compromised.
'All students and youth should join this fight'
Tejashwi Yadav stated that the August 19th march is not a program of any one individual or party, but a platform for raising the voice of youth. He appealed to students, youth, and the unemployed to join the movement and raise their voices against the government. He said that whenever a recruitment drive is announced in Bihar, its fairness is questioned. Youth hope for employment, but paper leaks and irregularities in the recruitment process are shattering their confidence.
Government accused of hiding scams.
Tejashwi Yadav attacked the Bihar government, saying that it only perpetrates scams and protects the scamsters. He alleged that numerous major scams have occurred in the state, but no action has been taken against any senior officials or responsible individuals. He said that if action is not taken against lower-level officials, how can one hope to reach the higher-ups? Tejashwi claimed that the public will respond in the future.
Questions were also raised regarding the AK-47 case.
Tejashwi Yadav, referring to the AK-47 firing incident in Bihar, questioned the government. He said that the government has not yet clarified who ordered this incident. He added that there are also many questions regarding law and order, and the government should answer these issues.
'If the government is removed, no one will survive'
The RJD leader stated that he has no expectations from the current government. He claimed that once this government is out of power, action will be taken against cases involving corruption and irregularities. Tejashwi Yadav's statement is expected to intensify political rhetoric in Bihar.
