Food Security Scheme Update: It is becoming difficult for the beneficiaries of the food security scheme to get wheat in Jaipur district. The reason is, the verification of the beneficiaries with the thumb has been completely stopped like before. In such a situation, if the verification is done with the iris scanner, then it is fine, otherwise the beneficiaries are returning without taking wheat. Troubled by this, the beneficiaries of Amer region reached the ration shop to return their ration cards. Ration dealers say that due to the problems in verification, only 15 to 20 quintals of wheat is being distributed instead of 30 to 40 quintals per day.

Ration cards waved at the shop, beneficiaries said what to do with them

The problems of verification of beneficiaries are not decreasing in Amer region also. Troubled beneficiaries reached the ration shop with their ration cards and started waving them. When the ration dealer said to keep the ration card with you, the beneficiary said that when wheat is not being given with this ration card, then what is the use of keeping it.

Logistics officer silent on the chaos

Due to the chaos of verification in Jaipur district, wheat is not being distributed to the beneficiaries and every month thousands of quintals of wheat are getting lapsed. To ensure that the wheat does not lapse and there is no uproar, the logistics officer is extending the date of wheat distribution every month.

Biometric verification has stopped and there are problems in verification of beneficiaries with iris scanner. Due to chaos, the beneficiaries are not getting wheat and they are expressing their displeasure to the ration dealers and asking to return the ration card.
