Recently, Mitsubishi has launched its new 7-seater SUV Destinator in Indonesia. The price of this vehicle has been kept at just Rs 20 lakh, which is usually the price of 5-seater compact SUVs. This SUV from Mitsubishi has so much space that even a big family can easily fit in it. If this SUV comes to India, then it will compete directly with vehicles like Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari.

How is the design of Mitsubishi's 7-seater? 

The Mitsubishi Destinator has a very stylish and muscular look. Its dimensions are also big. Its 2815mm wheelbase gives more space to the occupants. This SUV has 18-inch alloy wheels and 214mm ground clearance, which makes it easy to drive even on bad and uneven roads.

How is the interior and features of the car?

The interior of Mitsubishi Destinator gives a completely premium feel. It has dual-zone AC, so that the front and rear passengers can set different temperatures. Apart from this, it has 64 color ambient lighting, which makes night driving more beautiful. This SUV is completely 7-seater, which means even a big family can travel long distances comfortably. Mitsubishi Destinator will currently have a turbocharged petrol engine. It will give a strong performance and a better driving experience both in the city and on the highway. However, it does not have a hybrid engine option. Mitsubishi used to sell vehicles like Lancer and Pajero in India, but due to low sales, the company closed its operations from India. 

Which vehicles will collide with?

If Mitsubishi Destinator is launched in India, it can compete directly with Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari. Both the SUVs currently have a strong hold in this segment, but the new 7-seater Mitsubishi priced at Rs 20 lakh can prove to be a big game-changer in the Indian market. If this vehicle is launched in India, its price is going to be more than Rs 20 lakh because this price may increase due to import duty and other reasons.
